It is easy. The best way to know your shirt size is, rush to your nearest tailor, only he can measure, and inform you about the right size for you. Otherwise you can get it measured at the garments shop itself.

Methods differ:

The methods of measuring may differ from country to country, but the result is the same. In the US, the circumference of your neck in inches is often used to match your size with the size of a shirt. For example if a label reads 15”, this shirt will fit a person whose neck measures 15”.
